and no one but a dead guy and a guy that you can't trust what he says knows the whole truth.

But I could see where Brands might hold a grudge if "his" players were not released as promised. But I also believe that some lines were crossed that any reasonably ethical person would realize were wrong. The single most galling thing to me...is the attitude that VT should thank him for even gracing us with his presence....and that, somehow we should thank him for ever stepping on campus...and somehow he probably thinks we should thank him for being as good as we are today because he "started" it all. The arrogance is so thick you could choke on it. In a lot of ways, it is worse than the Blue Bloods of BBall or the Golden Domes of FBall.
